A supremely rare and very seldom seen Victorian fly tying vice complete in its original presentation case. Typically, these vices are generally unnamed and are made of brass with iron jaws. This example is finished in nickel silver with the "G" clamp being plated.
This example is retailed by J. Bernard & Son of 5 Church Place, Piccadilly, so this can be dated to 1881.
