Hardy Bros produced these fine Bakelite boxes dedicated for tube flies only. Shown in both known sizes with a deeper box for bulkier tubes.
The above example is the larger, deeper box, complete with period tube flies. This box is the dark Ox Blood example.
And the narrower example presented in the lighter brown colour.
These boxes have become increasingly scarce with some examples now selling for up to £750.
